Odex makes a clear distinction between Asset Management and Financial Management, and believe that latter is better served by bespoke financial systems such as Microsoft (Dynamics), SAP (ERP Financials), Oracle (JDE), Sage (Accpac/Pastel), or even QuickBooks. We have also never met a client ready to replace or upgrade their entire finance system at the same time as their Asset & Sales systems. Thus OdexV3 relies on integration into your existing accounting and financial system to ensure a flawless financial data.
OdexV3 employs two system databases. The first is the primary database; the second is purely a financial integration database containing “smoothed” financial records formatted on the Accrual Accounting method. The integration database was designed around Microsoft GP Dynamics 10 schema, thus the OdexV3 integration database shares 100% common tables, plus others those that have subsequently added to accommodate legacy systems. Odex will work with your current ERP vendor who would utilise their existing API’s to import and export data into the business layer of the ERP/finance system.
